Absolutely! When you see the https on the url address at the top (when you are ordering it will take you to paypal’s secure site), that tells you that particular page is secure. You’ll only see this when sensitive information is asked for, like your credit card. We never see your credit card number. It all goes through Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to order.

How long will it take to put the kit together?

It depends on whether you are baking, buying or ordering a cake and how much money you have collected to put in the money envelope bags. The longest part is placing the money in the bags. However, you can do that while watching tv. Add more time if you are baking a cake. Does the Money Cake include money?

No, you add the money. You decide how much money you want to put in the bags and either provide the money yourself or collect the money from family and friends, then you put it in the money envelope bags that are provided and hide it in the base of the kit (instead of zig zaging the bags in the base, you can roll it in a circle).

Does The Money Cake include a cake?

No, you provide the cake either by baking it yourself or ordering one from a baker or buying one from a grocery store. The Money Cake product comes with the base, ring, cake plate, 3 spouts (1 ½ inch, 2 ½ inch and 3 inch), 150 money envelope sleeves (3 rolls of 50 each) and one template.

Do you have a phone number that I can text?

Yes!  You can text us at 505-280-6220.  Your questions will be answered between the hours of 7:30 am to 8 p.m. mountain standard time.

Do I have to use the template for my cake topper?

Not necessarily. You can use any cake top decoration that matches the theme of your party. Just be sure to use a ribbon to attach to the money envelope bags to the cake top decoration you will use (see video instructions). Also, you can still use templates by attaching it to the money envelope bag and then attaching a ribbon to your cake top decoration.

Can I take this Money Cake kit to my favorite Baker?

Take the cake plate top with the spouts and ask your baker if he/she’s willing to make a cake directly on the plate. Make sure they cut the slot so that you can attach the spout.

But, I’m not very good at baking cakes, can I still use the kit?

Of course you can! You can buy any 6, 8, 9 or 10″ inch frosted, round cake from any bakery or grocery store (you can also use pies). When you arrive home, slide the cake onto the cake plate top and follow the directions from the Money Cake kit box or from our on-line instructions. You don’t have to use a cake. You can be creative and make a candy, diaper, popcorn, etc. display. One customer rolled towels and stacked them like a cake for a house warming party. The recipient pulled on the spatula.

An 8, 9, or 10 cake is not enough to serve my guests?

You’re right! You can buy a bigger size cake to accommodate your guests. The Money Cake can be an extra special cake. Tell the guest of honor that you need to cut the special cake first but they need to take off the decorations. When they pull on the one you attached the template, out will be their SURPRISE! Then you can serve the bigger size cake. Or you can buy, make or have a sheet cake made and place the kit on the sheet cake (you will need dowels to hold it in place). Then have another cake on top of The Money Cake kit.
